Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 20, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how yieldcurve.app (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the yieldcurve.app website (the “Site”). The Site is a free, publicly accessible tool that displays animated US Treasury yield curve data.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The Site does not require accounts, logins, or any form of registration. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

The Site uses your browser’s IndexedDB to cache yield curve data locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us.

3. Analytics

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to collect aggregated information such as pages visited, time spent on the Site, referral sources, and general geographic region (country/city level). This information is used solely to improve the Site.

Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site, but we do not combine this with any other data. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can learn more about how Google collects and processes data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Third-Party Services

FRED API. The Site fetches publicly available US Treasury yield data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED) via a proxy at api.yieldcurve.app. These requests do not include any personal information.

Cloudflare. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of its infrastructure. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

The only cookies set by the Site are from Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*), used to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any other third-party tracking technologies.

6. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not sell any data to anyone.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is a general-audience informational tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
